this girl is paralyzed from birth,

She is totally reliant on others taking care of her since she is unable to do it for herself.
Someone has to get her out of bed, clothe her, bathe her, hygiene her, transport her,
do little things for her, feed her, wipe her mouth if something spills.....
put her to bed, reposition her limbs etc. Throughout the story overall,
it is about the Thasxchers slowly being able to pry their way into her body
so she can gain more movement, but sometimes the progress undoes itself and
she can't move anything at all, not even speak or breathe on her own

She is scared to death to go to sleep because every time she goes to sleep,
she dreams of someone killing her very brutally. And just like in real life,
even in her dreams she is unable to move so she is usually very tired and tries to hide her tiredness
with her happiness

she has been in the slave trade since - she is unable to move
she is basically a living breathing doll that can be abused.
